Three finalists have been selected

TopSeis, Deep Blue and Earth Net received the most votes and are now in the final to receive the Exploration Innovation Prize 2019.

The Exploration Innovation Prize is awarded to a license group, company, team or person who during the last couple of years have given a courageous and innovative technological contribution in exploration for oil and gas on the Norwegian continental shelf.

Also, it is required that the recipient has matured an exploration technology with high potential that can potentially lead to increased knowledge of the subsurface or future commercial oil and gas discoveries.

Through a public vote, TopSeis (30%), DeepBlue (17%) and EarthNET (16%) received the most votes. On May 21, at NCS Exploration 2019, CGG/Lundin, EMGS and Earth Science Analytics will all present the technology they provide.

It is now up to the jury (i.e. the programme committee for NCS EXploration 2019) to select a winner. Their judgment will depend on the above-mentioned criteria, but the presentation given during the conference will also be significant for the verdict.

In the evening of May 21, the winner will be announced during a ceremony at the conference dinner.
