CCS4G Symposium 2026

London, UK

Commercial-Scale CCS: A New Era Begins
Carbon Capture and Storage is moving from ambition into delivery across the North Sea and beyond. Projects are progressing through final investment decision into execution, with the first commercial-scale storage developments entering operation. New licences, cross-border transport models and industrial partnerships are reinforcing the region’s role as a leading hub for secure geological CO₂ storage.
Momentum is growing, but delivery remains complex. Financing structures, regulation, storage integrity, monitoring and long-term liability continue to shape how quickly projects can scale, particularly for hard-to-abate sectors.
Now in its fifth year, the GESGB CCS4G Symposium 2026 brings geoscientists, engineers and energy professionals together for a focused one-day event on delivering geological CO₂ storage at scale.
The symposium offers practical insight into subsurface understanding, storage assurance, project delivery and the commercial developments defining CCS now.
