The Pilot story

Amidst ongoing uncertainty when it comes to investment in the North Sea, Steve Brown and his team at Orcadian Energy have quietly, and sometimes not so quietly, progressed the Pilot heavy oil discovery from a stranded accumulation to securing a farm-out including a detailed development concept that was approved by the regulator. In this talk, Steve will summarise the Pilot story, highlight Orcadian’s diversification into gas and share his vision on how hydrocarbon production in the UK offshore still has its place.
