Call for papers for DIGEX 2022 is now open!

DIGEX is the conference on digitalization for the geoscience community and surrounding industries in Norway. At the conference, we look at how digital technology is enabling the oil & gas industry to change the way geoscientists work, across teams, companies and license partners.

Taking place 26-27 January next year, this is the time to submit your abstract for DIGEX 2022 and share the work you do on enabling digital technology in the oil and gas industry and beyond. The abstract deadline stands at 30th of November.

DIGEX attracts geoscientists working within the subsurface domain in the oil & gas industry:

  • Oil companies
  • Service companies
  • Authorities
  • Research and educational institutions

We are looking for abstracts covering the following topics:

  • New Life for Old Data – Is the next Johan Sverdrup in your data store?
  • Transformative Exploration Workflows – Creating value throughout the exploration lifecycle
  • Transformative Production Workflows – Digital efforts to get the most out of a field’s life
  • Energy Transition – Can petrotechnical workflows find a new life?
  • Field Trials / Testing – State of the art technology developments and how to create value from digital efforts

Submit your abstract on how your organization is addressing motivation, experiences, and lessons learned in developing, implementing, and integrating new digital methods and tools in exploration and see you at the conference next year!
