Management changes at Neptune

Gro Haatvedt is leaving her role as a VP of Exploration and Development in Neptune Energy, but will continue to work with the company as a Distinguished Advisor.

Under Gro Haatvedt’s leadership, Neptune made discoveries at Isabella (UK), Echino South and Sigrun East (Norway) and at Schwegenheim (Germany).

In September 2020, Haatvedt will leave her executive VP role to become a Distinguished Advisor within the company.

According to Neptune’s press release, Gro Haatvedt will “provide insight and expertise to support the technical review of exploration and development prospects and geological and geophysical activity. She will also advise on the ongoing development of Neptune’s digital subsurface solutions.”

“Gro has been instrumental in Neptune’s growth. She created our exploration capability and the results we have achieved are testament to her leadership. I am delighted she will remain with the business in her new role to provide insight and technical expertise as we develop our exploration portfolio further”, comments Jim House, Chief Executive Officer in Neptune.

Neptune Energy will present the Duva field at the NCS Exploration – Recent Discoveries 2020 conference in Stavanger October 14-15th.

PROGRAM AND REGISTRATION

The changes in the Neptune senior management reflects a group structure more focuses on those activities that will deliver most value in prevailing market conditions, according to the company. Starting October, the exploration and development team will report to Andrea Guerra in the role as a VP Subsurface.
