The prime UK networking event

The first major in-person industry event after the start of the pandemic, Petex 2021 is returning to the iconic Business Design Centre in London.

With a technical programme packed with high-quality talks, an exhibition space for industry operators and service companies and a whole range of fringe events, this three-day event organised by the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain is not to be missed by anyone working in the UK energy industry and beyond.

Petex 2021 takes place from 23 to 25 November. Register for the conference here.

The lecture programme will be kicked off by Phil Kirk from Harbour Energy and Emmanuelle Garinet from TotalEnergies, after which three parallel sessions will showcase the latest developments in exploration, seismic data acquisition, the energy transition and reservoir geology.

Petex 2021 will also host the industry-recognised Prospex Conference as a fringe event this year, as well as the UK Exploration Forum. Over 2-days, you’ll hear from companies and agencies who have exciting prospects and investment opportunities to share, both in the UK and internationally. There will also be a keynote talk from Oil & Gas Authority, as well as presentations on success stories and future energy opportunities.

For the first time, Petex 2021 will be hosting an Africa Live Event. There is a full oral presentation programme showcasing abstracts with topics that span across the regions of Africa.

On Day 3 of the conference, a session is planned on digital transformation in the drive to net zero by 2050. Join the conversation about business drivers and challenges of delivering digital transformation. You’ll also get the chance to see solutions in action during special demo talks given by key industry influencers.

In addition to the above-mentioned series of technical events, there will also be ample room for social activities and networking. During the first evening of PETEX 2021, there will be dedicated time to browse the exhibition floor and connect with company representatives from across the industry. In addition, a workshop on networking will be part of the programme, as well as a YP & Student networking event.

All in all, Petex 2021 is not to be missed by anyone working in the UK energy sector and beyond!
