The Norwegian Continental Shelf Exploration Conference, due to take place on 14-15 October, has experienced a huge make-over from a traditional physical conference to a fully digital meeting place.
The move to a digital conference means that the technical content now becomes accessible to a larger and more global audience, so this event is the perfect starting point especially for the younger generation of explorers wanting to familiarise themselves with recent NCS finds.
Where previously a few people from a company joined the two days of talks, the digital format also allows for whole exploration teams to come together to listen to and discuss the drilling results presented.
To ensure smooth delivery of the technical content, filming of the panel discussions and technical talks started in Stavanger. Aided by a team of great technicians, presenters have been very accommodating to this new way of delivering a talk, which for some has been a totally new experience.
On the days of the conference, all presenters will be available to answer any question you may have in a series of live Q&A sessions following a block of talks.
